According to French site iGen.fr, the stainless steel Apple Watch could cost $500, while the gold model’s pricing will be between $4,000 and $5,000.
The report comes from sources that allegedly have inside knowledge.
Also, the strap is removable and the case is completely sealed just like the iPad or the iPod touch, so any battery replacement may have to go through the Apple Store.
In terms of availability, the source claims that the date of February 14, 2015, which coincides with Valentine’s Day, will be the official release date of the smartwatch.
Apple is also expected to develop the accessories in order to increase revenue.
